“ Several Korean restaurants serves raw marinated crab in Toronto, this is one of them. We ordered soy sauce marinated crab, pork bone soup and Shredded dried-pollack soup. The crabs were absolutely delicious, the crab roe had a rich umami, when eating together with the unique soy sauce is just perfect. (Mixed with the rice is good too). The size of the crab is a bit small but the price is not expensive so is worth the value. The taste of pork bone soup had a more "home-made" flavor, is not as rich as those in other Korean chain restaurants, I love it. Is a small restaurant but cozy, just like I'm back home! This become my most favorite Korean restaurant. ”

“ First visit with 4 friends and the service and food are phenomenal! This small family-owned restaurant has the traditional raw crab dishes: GanJang GeJang (in soy sauce) and YangNyeom GeJang (in spicy sauce). We tried the soy version and enjoyed it with rice! It was our first time eating it, so the staff came to help us crack open the crab legs. We also enjoyed the GamJaTang, Seafood Pancake and Bulgogi Beoseot JeonGol hot pot. Not to mention, the spread of 6 banchan were super fresh and a great range of flavours. Our table of 5 were filled the the brim. And loved the experience. Would definitely be back to try other menu items. ”

“ I had a great experience at Jung Soo Nae. My friend and I shared an order of Soy-Marinated Korean Crab, and the marinade paired perfectly with the rice. Even though the crabs were small, they were full of flavor. It was my first time trying raw crabs, and I loved every bite, so much so that next time we might each order one! They also helped us cut the crabs so that it was easier to eat. The beef broth cold noodles were seasonal, and we got it since it was really hot outside. It was super refreshing and even better with their mustard sauce. The service was friendly, and there was a great selection of refillable banchan. Hopefully, by the time crab season arrives, the crabs will be larger! Overall, it’s a very homey restaurant, conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Finch Station Parking. ”

“ My first time trying this place, and I really enjoyed it! We got the army stew and the spicy raw marinated crab to split amongst four people. The crab was especially delicious, with a nice spicy flavour (good if you like spice!). The service was excellent. The servers were really sweet. We also got seated very quickly and the food came pretty quickly after we ordered, even though the restaurant was full. The atmosphere is relaxed, like a small mom-and-pop store. It’s good for casual hang-outs with friends. ”

“ One of my favourite restaurants in the city, I come here specifically for the gangjang gejang and soondubu jiggae - SO flavourful! Their generosity (unlimited/wide variety of banchan) and customer care are unmatched, and remind me of eating at family/grandparents house. Will always come back! ”

“ Very nice little Korean restaurant. My wife saw then on YouTube and really wanted to try the Raw Crab dish. We also ordered the Seafood Pancake, Spicy Seafood and Tofu Soup, and Beef Bone Soup. They were all very good. My wife exclaimed that the Raw Crab was super fresh without any smell to it. We will definitely be back! ”

“ Tasty spot for general korean food but especially for korean marinated crabs! They have a few other things on the menu too, all were tasty. Food was served quickly. Seating was decent. Tables can be a little closer to each other but adds to the mom-and-pop shop vibe. Seating itself otherwise is decently spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly, our tea was always filled and we were asked at least twice if we wanted our side dishes refilled! ”

“ We came after lunch so it was just us in the whole restaurant and service was quick. It was our first time trying raw crab and it was amazing! We tried the soy marinated crab and the spicy crab hot pot. Their kimchi and cucumber kimchi was so delicious too! I would come back again ”
